Veranstaltungen und Proteste im Aachener Umland
In dieser Woche finden viele antifaschistische Veranstaltungen in Aachen statt, wie zum Beispiel ein Vortrag in der Katho Aachen oder das AZ Fest 2017 und die Tanzdemo. Nichtsdestotrotz möchten wir darauf aufmerksam machen, dass auch im Umland von Aachen Menschen und Gruppen antifaschistische und linksradikale Politik organisieren. So versuchen die Antifa Düren , Antifa Euskirchen und das Bündnis Düren gegen Rechts in jedem noch so kleinen Dorf, in dem die AfD Veranstaltungen durchführen will, Gegenproteste zu organisieren. Als im März die AfD einen Infoabend im Dorf Hambach organisierte, nahmen an den Gegeprotesten ca. 200 Menschen teil. Ebenfalls verhinderte lokale antifaschistische Intervention, dass der AfD in Düren Räumlichkeiten, wie z.B. Kneipen zur Verfügung gestellt werden. In zahlreichen Postings auf Facebook beklagte diese, dass sie keine Räumlichkeiten finde, um ihre Veranstaltungen durchzuführen.
Leider trübt die Stadt Düren die bisherigen Erfolge, da sie nun der AfD kommunale Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung stellt. Am Samstag, den 06. Mai wurde AfD Landesvorsitzender Pretzell ins Schloss Burgau zu einem „Bürgerdialog“ eingeladen. Die Antifa Düren ruft dazu auf, sich ab 17:00Uhr an den Gegenprotesten vor Ort zu beteiligen. Schon zwei Tage vorher, am Donnerstag den 04. Mai will der Trümmerhaufen der Splitterpartei „Republikaner“ ab 17:00Uhr auf dem Dürener Kaiserplatz demonstrieren. Das Dürener Bündnis gegen Rechts organisiert ab 16:00Uhr eine Gegenkundgebung.
Eine Woche später findet zum Glück eine erfreulichere Veranstaltung statt. Im Multi-Kulti in Düren findet die „Game over Krauts“ Party zum Tag der Befreiung statt. Wir rufen alle auf dahin zu fahren, denn wer nicht feiert hat verloren!
